Ward Barnett, center, presents dedication plaque to John Sheetz, Lieutenant Governor Elect for Division 16, Carolinas District of Kiwanis International.  John Sheetz is the son of Kiwanis Club of Hatteras founding member Leo J Sheetz.  Dottie Reed, secretary of the Hatteras Club, presided over the ceremony.

The Kiwanis Club of Hatteras permanent meeting room is provided by Ward and Betty Barnett at their Frisco Woods Campground.  Ward Barnett is also a founding member of the Hatteras Club.
