SCHOLARSHIP SOCIETY OF HATTERAS ISLAND

Since 1990, a major goal for the Kiwanis Club of Hatteras Island has been providing scholarships for Cape Hatteras School graduates.  We invite you to join us in this worthy endeavor by becoming a member of the Scholarship Society of Hatteras Island.  All donations, regardless of amount, are accepted and included in the scholarship fund.  Membership in the Scholarship Society is extended to those individuals or businesses investing $100 or more.

Our combined efforts make it possible to offer Cape Hatteras School seniors $4,000 in scholarships each year.

All individuals and businesses who make a donation are contributing directly to scholarships for Cape Hatteras School students!  No money is diverted for administrative costs.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

Students must complete a Kiwanis Club of Hatteras Island scholarship application and participate in an interview.  Once selected, the student must be enrolled and attending a college or university and agree to look for an opportunity to assist someone else in continuing his/her education.

By combining our efforts, we can create GREAT opportunities for our youth.
