OYSTER ROAST

This year's oyster roast Sunday, March 17, 2002.

The Kiwanis Club of Hatteras Island holds an oyster roast each year for Kiwanians to invite prospective members to see what we have to offer and to enjoy some delicious seafood.  These pictures were taken at this years event.  Betty Barnett's Hatteras chowder and Sam Hagedon's roasted and raw oysters warmed a cool, rainy day on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
