ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BONFIRE

Every year the Kiwanis Club of Hatteras Island hosts a free Christmas party for the children of our island at the Frisco Woods Campground.  We serve hamburgers, hot dogs and hot chocolate and the kids roast marshmallows around the bonfire.  Then the children line up to tell Santa what they want for Christmas.  The Kiwanis Club of Hatteras Island fondly remembers founding member and host Ward Barnett as Santa Claus for the festive occasion.
